Sunday, October 19, 2008 - Peggy with Deanna Way who received the Chief Commissioners Award at the Girl Guides of Canada Ottawa Recognition Ceremony. This is the highest award a girl can receive in Guiding - having completed the Senior Branches Program.

Thursday, October 23, 2008 - Peggy's pumpkin creation and gift package donation to the Children at Risk's Thirteenth Annual Celebrity-Carved Pumpkin Contest. The event kick-off was held at Merivale Mall on October 23rd. Peggy's pumpkin was on display at Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre until Saturday, October 25th.

The Family Movie Night was scheduled to be held outdoors but due to the weather was held in the Upper Hall of the Kanata Recreation Complex. Princess Aimée is the wife of Prince Floris, the Legion's godson and youngest child of Princess Margriet (who was born in Ottawa during the war). Prince Floris and Princess Aimée were special guests to the Convention where he was named Honourary Vice-President of The Royal Canadian Legion.
