December 5, 2007. Councillor Peggy Feltmate and A.Y. Jackson grade 12 international business class student.  Peggy is purchasing five Ottawa 67's hockey tickets (to be donated to the WOCRC) from Cathy Belanger's international business class.  The funds raised from this project will be given to the family of Julianne Courneya, the victim of an attack in Banff in 2005.  The A.Y. Jackson students also donated 23 hockey tickets to the WOCRC (that had been purchased and donated back). The Ottawa 67's game is being held on December 28, 2007. 

Tuesday, December 3, 2007. Peggy speaking at the One Cent Now rally calling on the federal government to do its bit to help with the $123 billion cost of repairing or replacing existing municipal infrastructure across Canada. The lack of federal funding for municipalities contrasts with the United States and European countries.
