| Saturday, February 27, 2010 - Peggy purchasing a VIMY pin from two members of the Centurion Sea Cadet Corps at the Hazeldean Mall. The pins are to commemorate the Battle of VIMY - April 9, 1917. Proceeds from the sale of the pin will go the the VIMY Foundation and the Military Families Fund. The VIMY pins are presently being sold at The Royal Canadian Legion - Kanata Branch, 70 Hines Road, the Kanata Sports Club and the Kanata Seniors Centre. They are also available on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Connaught Base, 6 Brouilette. They are also available to order at www.centurionseacadets.com |
