PRESENTATIONS FROM THE SEPTEMBER 12 MEETINGS ON FLOODING IN KANATA

At the public meetings on the July 24 flooding City of Ottawa staff made presentations based on what the investigation has found so far. The presentations are for:

• Glen Cairn north of the Carp River
• Glen Cairn south of the Carp River
• Katimavik - Hazledean

One of the causes staff identified for the flooding in the south part of Glen Cairn was stormwater from communities as far away as Stittsville getting into the sanitary sewer system (stormwater should be kept separate) leading to back ups near the Hazeldean Pumping Station near Terry Fox and Castlefrank.
