Public Meetings on investigation into flooding
To give people a chance to get information on the investigation and to provide feedback I am having public meetings on the investigation into the flooding. These meetings are also intended to ensure there is as much scrutiny as possible of the investigation. We want to make sure the investigation looks at all possible causes.
Because the causes of the flooding differ from area to area, there will be separate meetings for the south part of Glen Cairn, north part of Glen Cairn and Bridlewood and Katimavik - Hazeldean.
There will be a presentation from staff followed by the opportunity to ask questions and make comments. I have asked that the presentations be considerably more specific than the one made on September 2 at Council and include information about when people can expect to see work start on solutions.
