Let the City know what kind of transit and road system you want

Consultations are underway on the update to the Transportation Master Plan. Unless people speak up there is a danger we could end up with a plan for light rail that is very like the 2006 north-south light rail plan. A second concern is that, while some of the road projects that are supposed to be built in the first phase of the plan duplicate planned rapid transit routes, projects we need in Kanata like the extension of Hope Side Road is not supposed to occur until the second phase.

There are open houses around the City up until September 22. The list and a link to the proposed scenarios can be found here. There is also a form for people to e-mail their comments here.
